Prince Ronald Victor Charles Mann (from 1967 Prince Roman 2) is the elder Scottish child of Lieutenant Prince Roman Emil Dambski of Lubraniec, Polish Corps 7 Rifles, who was a chemical engineer stationed at Paderewski Hospital, attached to Edinburgh University, from 1940-47. 

Roman 1 inherited the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in 1943 from Prince Wladislaw Ignacy Marek Gedroyc (+1943 Zubracze), and was awarded War and Peace Medals, which were released to Prince Ronald Mann, for his war service. 

Prince Roman 1 died 22 November 1967 at Gliwice Poland from where he was carried in procession to Brama 4 Warsaw in 1988. Prince Ronald Mann was shown the royal tomb of his father in 1992.

Katherine Mann was Prince Ronald Mann's mother, born of Belgian father (Henri Waersegers) and Dutch mother (Henrietta Sambler), who was a descendant of Sir Anthony van Dyck (Dijk), court portrait painter to English Kings James 1 and Charles 1. Princess Catherine died aged 97 at Torquay England in 2011.

Prince Ronald Mann attended Trinity Academy Edinburgh 1947-60, graduating in Science (Chemistry and Physics) and Languages (English, French and German). He also studied History and Latin, piano and guitar, and sang in school choirs, including for HMS Pinafore in the Usher Hall. 

During later school years, Prince Ronald Mann was a member of the Air Training Corps, and recipient of the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. 

He got hooked on astronomy after a school night visit to Calton Hill Observatory in 1958. He has a particular interest in our Moon, which he recognizes as much more interesting than most people are aware, and the three large habitable moons of Jupiter.

After unsuccessfully testing at RAF Hornchurch Essex for aircrew, Prince Ronald learned air radar (wrongly recorded in his service record as air radio) at RAF Yatesbury in 1961 and then transferred to typing /secretarial at RAF Hereford in 1962.

Prince Ronald's first posting as a Senior Aircraftman was to Joint HQ Middle East Command, RAF Steamer Point, Aden, in South Yemen, where he met a Goan girl, Lavender D'Souza, whom he later met again at Lourdes and dated in London, and with whom he thought he might have a future, and he became a Roman Catholic through Fr Gabriel OFM at the Franciscan Mission.

Prince Ronald bought out of the Royal Air Force in 1965 to nurse in Southmead Hospital Bristol and St Martin's Hospital Bath, and then tried his vocation as a Mill Hill Missionary priesthood student at their seminary in Roosendaal, Holland (now Netherlands), leaving after three months because of religious differences.

Prince Ronald emigrated to Melbourne Australia in 1967, the year that inheritance of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania passed to him from Grand Prince Roman 1, Count of Lubraniec Dambski. 

He joined accounting in the Victorian Public Works Department, learned to fly to Restricted Pilot Licence standard at Pipeair Flying School, Moorabbin Airport, and sang regularly on the Radio 3DB Country & Western Show hosted by Dick Cranbourne, and GTV9 New Faces, where he received an outside offer of a singing contract in 1973. In 1972, he also sang for the ABC in PNG, where he acted as bodyguard for Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, when he visited the Royal Agricultural Show.

Already contracted to be a patrol officer in PNG, Prince Ronald trained at Australian School of Pacific Administration (ASOPA) in Mosman Sydney, and then at Kwikila Camp on the Brown River outside Port Moresby. 

Prince Ronald patrolled from Subdistrict Office Ela Beach in Port Moresby throughout the Central District, and was later awarded the Police Overseas Service Medal (TPNG). In 1972 he was put in charge of the Department of Law in Rabaul. 

He then returned to Melbourne in 1973 and from there cruised on SS Australis to Southampton, from where he travelled to 67 Great Pulteney Street, Bath, then the family home.

Prince Ronald was appointed an Executive Officer in HM Customs & Excise, joined the Royal Navy Reserve as a Medic, and was elected Minister of the Bristol Congregation of the Secular Franciscan Order. 

In 1975, he married Feliciana Javier, later Lady Fele, at St Paul's Church Dover on 10 May, and they flew in October to Darwin Australia , where they reside in Coconut Grove. Since 2008 they have enjoyed a variety of cruises around Australia and Asia.
